Help Us Tell Our Story: Donate to Bring the Auroville Language Lab to the World

27 years of Language Teaching & 21 years of Alfred Tomatis Listening work.

The Auroville Language Lab has quietly touched thousands of lives in Auroville and beyond, including children, adults, families and teachers. We are now documenting our work in a short video, capturing the Lab, the Tomatis Centre, the building, and the spirit behind it all. We are deeply grateful to have professionals Alessandra Silver and Gustavo Barbachano of Inlight Media, Auroville, supporting us in this endeavour.

At the Auroville Language Laboratory, we are deeply committed to making a positive impact in our community and the environment through a variety of projects. We are excited to share some of our current projects that urgently need your support.

Construction to Combat Climate Change

The building is a stellar example of construction to combat climate change through reduced electrical consumption and conscious and healthy building. The Language Lab has been designed with a very unique system of cooling without air-conditioning based on 3 cooling towers, inlet shafts and outlet shafts. We need help to complete it.

GOALS FOR THE BUILDING

1. We completed 6 outlet shafts and have 15 remaining
2. Finish the roof tiling
3. Finish flooring for the Cafeteria, Indian classroom and the North Terrace
4. Finish the cooling towers
5. Make detailed estimates of the remaining work

How the building reduces electric consumption

Publications

The Auroville Language Laboratory has published a transformational work on the Alfred Tomatis Method in English. Our listening therapy has helped countless children and adults overcome significant developmental delays and other related problems. It has also immensely helped artists, musicians, and other creative individuals discover their full potential. We would like your support in translating this book into multiple languages so the message may reach the whole world.
